Also, I didn't find The Cosby Show to be funny.

I saw Cosby at the Paramount in Denver decades ago. It was a good show.

He was not a known rapist son of a bitch back then so it was alright to enjoy the show.
 
I liked his stand-up, until I discovered Pryor, Carlin and Hicks.

Never cared for his TV show at all. I loved Fat Albert, though.

I did hear stories about him being an arrogant douchebag, but nothing about being a serial rapist.

Men who are rich and prestigious get away with stuff that would ruin the rest of our lives pretty quickly. Sometimes it gets to be a habit. Eventually it catches up with them.

I do not know if Bruce Lee raped anyone. I do know he was difficult to work with. When he was filming "Enter the Dragon" he got into an argument with the script writer, and refused to work any more until the author left Hong Kong.

It is disappointing to find out that Cosby, whose show I enjoyed, is one more sexual predator... playing the victim.

I'm wondering where and how he got his date rape drugs. I can imagine his conversation with his doctor or dealer: You know how the womens are. You have to drug them to get them to cooperate. Or: I am sooooo lonely. My wife won't have anything to do with me. And I like them young and dumb anyway.
 
Nah, I'm afraid there was an undercurrent over here in Australia from several decades ago when the same thing happened on a local radio talk show doing an interview with Cosby - and the mics were left running.

He was a nasty guy off-camera/theoretically off-mic; made a lot of 'legal' threats, 'you'll lose your job' stuff. I heard the interviews here. And he was never back on any camera or radio show ever since.

And the rumour was that it all had to do with paternity things and other similar issues. His reaction was not the kind of thing you would expect from someone innocent. And he revealed a different nature to the one that he showed to audiences. Personally I'm having doubts that any of his early material was really his - he never showed any comedic acumen to me. He doesn't have comic timing and he doesn't have funny lines. What makes him funny?

His olden days stand-ups were repetitious - after the record albums - sounded almost like he had learned the lines and didn't really care about what he was saying on-stage - just delivering 'something' that people expected. Was it from a script or material that came from another person's mind? He kept disavowing the reality of the childhood characters in the early material that made him famous in the first place. He's a very odd guy.
 
I don't believe a word of any of these so called accusers.

Bunch lying scumbags doing a dis service to women who were actually raped or abused.
