story display issue -duplicates

I have 3 stories appearing twice on my story listing page. They were only submitted once of course. Last weekend I emailed the member help address. Since then I resubitted one and included the issue in the note field on submit page. Yesterday I even reported one of the stories as appearing twice. Still showing all 3 stories twice. Is this sort of display issue difficult for the admins to fix? Anyone else run into issues like this? Its not a huge deal....just dont know why it happened and if it can be corrected. Doesnt look very professional...yes i know it's a porn story site, but still.

Many of us (through experience) think the e-mail system on this Web site is nonfunctional. Send a PM (Private Message system--upper right of this page) to the site editor (Laurel--that address name) and explain the issue. It likely will be quickly resolved.

I think its because its a series. It seems sometimes the stories get listed twice, as individual then again if its chapters.

Its on my page as well. I have a 5 part series that is a spin off of a long series and all five parts are listed twice.

I followed your advice and i received a message from her:

"Thank you for the heads up! This is a known bug that I've pointed out to my tech people, but they insist isn't happening. If you happen to talk to any other authors who are having the same issue, could you have them PM me a link to the affected page?"

So perhaps if other authors, including ones in this thread, are experiencing duplicate story display issues, go ahead and send a PM to Laurel.

LOL I reported this quite some time back as well, but sent it to Manu.

I'll send it to Laurel along with some additional information I have for her to pass along to the doubting code monkeys.

It hasn't happened to me, but I have seen it when reading stories by others, several times. Sometimes all the stories in a series are listed in the duplicate, sometimes there's one story difference.
