I'll start off by saying I'm a (male) virgin, and I don't have a girlfriend. So I've never had an orgasm during sex, nor do I have an opportunity to.

I do, however, masturbate frequently (*gasp*) and I'm just...unimpressed by my orgasms. They come easily enough and I'm even able to have multiple orgasms if I try hard enough. They're just kind of boring. Maybe it's because after masturbating for 6 or so years, they're just getting old, I don't know.

You're actually asking two different questions, one, making masturbation more fulfilling, and two, how to make your orgasms more fulfilling.

On masturbation, basically, it is an means to an end, a physical release, which is helpful, but without a partner to share it with, generally unsatisfying. Are there ways to spice it up for yourself, sure, however, only you know what kinds of things turn you on. Experiment with different porn, different techniques, different toys, etc., I'm sure you'll find something that works for you, if nothing else, something that breaks the monotony.

On making your orgasms more fulfilling, when you understand where an orgasm originates, and you pay attention to the physical sensations, you can focus on these areas and increase your pleasure, with or without a partner. I think your situation sounds like a good example of the misconception of the male orgasm. There's this idea that guys find it easy to cum, which is on the whole true.
