Well I submitted my story and the poor thing got rejected. It wasn't a shocker a lot of ages had been left out but all characters were over 18. Bad thing is my pc broke so my editing is horribly slow and equally as bad via tablet keyboard. I've taken the steps and contacted 3 editors but is there anything more to do?

For those of you who write and were rejected can you tell me what you did?

Authors don't hang out here, they hang out in the Author's Hangout forum: http://forum.literotica.com/forumdisplay.php?f=3

I took a spoonful of cement and then hardened the fuck up.

I've never submitted a story on here, but I do submit to literary magazines, and I get rejected all the time!

I think the best way to move on is to just try to avoid the same mistakes from the first time, and to especially try to write another story. That way, you can focus on something new, and then if that one is successful, you can go back to the old one.

Good job with contacting editors, though. That's a wonderful step.

excellent news, noye! when it's up, i hope you'll post a link in this thread.
