Husband as gay best friend

Here's my idea. Don't know if it is of interest to anyone else at all.

A young couple, both extremely good looking and fashionable, are shopping and the wife is approached by a man who offers her a modelling assignment. They discuss it later and decide its an opportunity they can't afford to miss (they are having money problems perhaps the husband has just lost his job). Now for some reason the guy thinks that the husband is gay (perhaps he makes an inadvertent comment about another guy which is overheard). Anyway he gets invited along to the appointment. Everything goes extremely well at the assignment and soon the wife is working steadily and earning lots. They can afford the best things in life so the husband is essentially her personal assistant. They keep up the pretence of being only friends (maybe her agent says that a single model is more in demand).

What situations will they get into? Will she get hit on by fellow male models? Will the husband get hit on by some gay or bisexual models?

That's up to the storyteller, now isn't it? To further her career / keep the money flowing, does husband Hank feel he must:

- share his wife Wendy with models/crew?
- pretend to be Wendy's gay/bi brother?
- join in group sex, but not with Wendy?
- accept and/or initiate male-male action?

The big snag IMHO is this: "They keep up the pretence of being only friends (maybe her agent says that a single model is more in demand)." Does the fashion-shoot world really care if a model (any gender) is single or attached? IRL, probably not, except as it might affect the model's willingness or ability to travel to shoots. As a LIT story device, sure, why not? Maybe the slimy agent Ace prefers singles because he screws all his clients -- sexually as well as financially.

It so happens that Jamie the husband is actually really good at being a stylist. So Lily the wife turned supermodel is the envy of everyone for her best friend being so helpful.
