this is southern living GB style.

Anyone who posts a Sandra Lee recipe for anything other than a cocktail will be DEAD TO ME.

That bitch needs her own thread of horror.
Another time.

homemade raspberry habanero jam served over cream cheese with crackers

*gifted by a friend - no recipe. find your own spicy jam!

i am a fan of white bread for cucumber sammies. it reminds me of my childhood.

My mom used to have a whitebread sandwich or sometimes with rye with Hellmans and sliced spanish olives with pimentos.

You may like that.

Grumpy is making a Black Bottom Pie...I've never had it before, but it sounds delicious.

I did a trial run with Pumpkin Whoopie Pies with Rum & Maple Laced Cream Cheese Filling two weeks ago...yum!! :D

I eat a lot of dark bread. But I prefer it. I do want to try sourdough rye, I haven't seen it locally, sounds good.

Foodie with Family has wonderful recipes:

Baked Ricotta
Fruity Habanero Salsa (for Neci)
Cheeseburger Bites
Spicy Slow-Cooker Bacon Corn Dip
Roasted Garlic Whipped Feta

I also have a homemade cheese spread recipe that is bangin' with some nice crackers, or even with Ritz.

8 oz. sharp cheddar (I use Cabot extra sharp white cheddar)
8 oz. Edam cheese
3 oz. cream cheese (low fat works fine, too)
1/3 cup mayo
2 cloves garlic, sauteed in some butter
1/2 tsp. Dijon mustard
Splash of Tabasco

Process together until smooth. Keeps in the fridge for a few months.
So delicious.

CLEARLY I AM NOT OBSESSED WITH CHEESE, OR ANYTHING.

Shut up.

Ahahahaha! Someone should cut into that just to put it out of its misery.

There's a local cheese dip that has become well known for these parts.

3 cups grated cheddar
1 cup mayo
2 pickled jalapeños, minced
Splash of jalapeño pickle juice
Dash of liquid smoke
Dash of cayenne

Mix all together and serve with strong tortilla chips. No wimpy chips or they will break. Can be chilled first.

4 cups cranberries or lingonberries
3 cups sugar
2 cups water

cook until it bubbles and berries are all busted.

You're welcome.
