it would be clever, like Stephen Colbert. Parody a curmudeon that no one likes with views opposite of U-eleven.
Several problems, though. Authors voice is not possible that either one voices the other, second problem is no one likes eeyore, so it would be self defeating. Lastly, eyer is far too well versed in expressing conservative viewpoints in areas that u-11's blinders would not let him articulate so well.
Same way you can tell Jen is a loon, but a sincerely conservative, ass-juice eschewing loon.

Eh, I don't see it. Being Eyer is a full-time job, and you'd have to be a bit obsessive to pull that kind of thing off. Like Karen Kraft obsessive.
I just don't see him being that into it. There is too little reward.
