I just finished a cup of creamed cauliflower soup that I had made yesterday and a slice of toasted marble rye with peanut butter. Shhhh, I know how it sounds but I have been up since yesterday morning and after that long it's purely going off what my taste buds crave, not if any if it goes together.

And now I am full and going to seek my bed as soon as my tea is done.

We had a bit of a cold front move thru this weekend so I actually felt like using the oven.

Saturday a small Casserole, nothing special just Potato's I scalloped on mandolin & cubed Ham steak baked in cheddar béchamel.

Sunday morning Bundt cake. Devils food, Cream Cheese frosting and White Chocolate /Amaretto center. Cake was eaten in the afternoon with fresh ground coffee Yum-O. Either the center was too dense causing it to settle too soon into the batter before it could rise or WTH? lol.
It gives me a chance to try again. If you have any ideas let me know

Sunday Evening Stuffed Peppers, My first attempt. I will not be using moms recipe again

With the amount of margarine I mashed into my sweet potato(e) I shoulda just had a baked potato(e) smothered in gravy.

Why use Margarine when you had Bacon wrapped Mignon? You were way over the line already lol

Indeed. It's just how I always made Sweet Potatoes as a kid in Louisiana. Bake them, mash them, butter, salt pepper.

I should have mostly nuked them, cut them in to wedges, sprayed them with pam, sprinkled with sea salt and grilled them.

Pork roast, potato souffle, and haluski. Gonna be a real midwestern dinner up in here, don'tchaknow.

I cooked this on Friday night - it's becoming a real favourite. Insanely good, and finally finished off the last of it for breakfast this morning with a poached egg.

From scratch and I'm pretty sure everything but the asiago chee is organic.

Herb flour/oil crust, basil pesto/garlic base, double onions, bunch of super spicy Italian sausage, fresh ground asiago, parmesan and mozzarella....

The deep dish one is a fuckin' PIE man...It's gotta weigh like 4 lbs.

High holy jamfucks that looks deeeeeelish!

I literally don't know what haluski is with the broken link. *Cries*
I'm sorry!
Let's try again.
It was okay and even cutting down the recipe, it made a TON so now I have to pawn a couple containers off on some peeps.

Salivating!
Holy shit, holy shit- YES.
Bot, that looks FAB.

And the green La Creuset is just as gorgeous.

Cherry juice seems to make me go back to sleep and sleep longer. I drink Trader Joes and I water it down 1/2 water to 1/2 cherry juice.
