Here at the bunk-house one of the guys left one in the rain for a year. (well we get no rain, but more up here than the low desert.)

It was greasy and rusty. an odd combo. I scoured it out with oxalic acid and a scotch-brite because I loaned my compressor out 4 years ago...don't think it's coming back.

I oiled it up (the kettle, not the compressor), baked it an hour and it is beautiful...food slides right out.
