I read the personals but seldom respond. I think it's out of fear of encouraging responses from jerks, but I really shouldn't worry about that so much because so many of the people that send me PMs are a little creepy, but every now and then there is a gem.

Not all of them are real, of course.

And another problem I've run into is people who place ads not really expecting to get serious responses: Especially, some girls get here and find chatting with guys fun, but get cold feet when they find that they're talking to a real person who is seriously engaging them with more in mind than sexy chat or even a one night stand.

That said, there are some very genuine, intelligent, kind and sensual people on Lit. Quite a few, actually.

Do any of them ever manage to get together? Yes, it does happen.

Do you mean getting in touch as far as meeting in person?

People do respond depending on the ad (content, sincerity, etc) and whether the person placing it seems to not be a buttnut and, yes, responses also include women. But, the question is how many ads for something "in person" pan out that way. Like anything, response depends on what you put out... "I want to cyber fuck your gushing cunt" will probably not go too far.

lots of great people to talk to especially if you think the only one who thinks a certain way. as far as hooking up, not so much. usually someone interesting is across the country or the world. Other sites are much better for local hookups.

I think it depends on your motivation. I've talked to you before and enjoyed it. It's probably a flavor of the moment kind of thing. If one or the other isn't interested, then it's not going to be a fun experience. I have made some great friends. I have also discovered the ignore function. You're a nice kinky guy, it shouldn't be hard to make lots of lady friends these ads just open the door. Someone has to walk through it.

A lot of us just skim the forums for whatever reason and have to make snap decisions. A first impression is everything and rules out a lot of potential chat (or whatever) partners. This isn't unique to any specific gender.

I was told once that my long signature, my avatar, and profile pic were a huge turn-off because it looked "desperate", but he took a chance on me "anyway". It hadn't stopped me in the past, but because I ended up really liking him, I kind of took his judgement to heart, I suppose.

If you don't get a lot of replies, maybe try changing it up to improve your odds? Sorry, I forgot where I was going with this. I'm distracted by those arms. I'm personally not suggesting that you change your avatar.

I have posted on here and PM a few people some replies were good some bad. When I have a question for the group I post a thread, but I also reply to threads it helps me come out of my shell I am scared to talk with people because I push people away and have been told I am to pushy.

yeah that av is sorta new. i had one the very first one and didnt changed it for ages. This one however had got some attention. Hopefully stays that way
