Guy by day, CD photo model by night

Hi all Lit-sters.
Just wanted to run this story idea up the flag pole and see if any one thinks it is worth the time to put into writing some erotica.
My story line would start out with a some what "regular" guy who has a "regular" job, but in the evenings, he gets home from work, and dresses like a very passable woman and goes out. He is so passable that he, now a she, is a known regular at several restaurants, bars, shops and coffee houses.
While out dressed one evening, he is approached by an amateur photographer who gives her his card and tells her he would love to photograph her. The photographer is trying to build his portfolio and thinks she has a gorgeous look. The photographer has no idea she is CD at first. They set up a time and have a great photo shoot and even start a friendship from it.
The photos from the first photo shoot are seen by a professional photographer and he contacts her to set up a photo shoot. After that her photos are seen by many others and she starts to get paid more and more to do photo shoots. Some of the photo shoots are regular magazine type shoots and other ones take a bit kinkier/fetish feel.
Any thoughts on this story line or reactions by the Lit community?
Please write back

Kate
I love the idea. Sounds like it could be really interesting and hot.

I think it would be interesting to see the world from her perspective, hear her thoughts and reactions as the situation slowly develops.

I like it, but have one concern: if you intend to make it an erotic story with sex, it seems like the reader will have to wade through a lot of prose before coming to the sexy parts. You would have to hold their interest somehow.

Good point Carnevil and I will keep this in mind as I start to "flesh" out the story. I do want to ride that line of giving the reader a good picture of who the character is but at the same time not boring them to death with details about her life. I recently heard a pod cast interview with an Australian erotica writer and she was asked what she feels the difference between erotica and pornography is. In summation, she basically said the amount of time spent on building details about the characters involved, vs the actual sex acts.
Good reply back to me and I look forward to hearing more from other writers or lovers of erotic writings.

Personally, the more I can believe that the character is real, or could be real, with thoughts and emotions that I can recognise, the hotter the eroticism. Lurching straight into the sweaty bits feels empty, so I'd agree with you 100%. Of course, not everyone is the same, but you can't please everyone.

Sounds like a great idea, I'd be interested in reading and it's something I'm interested in. Go for it, what's the worst that can happen?

How do you plan to end the story. What you have just sort of peters out after a good setup. There are ways you could go with it, but I'm not sure you want to--and, as noted, I don't see a finished story off of what you have here.

You could take him one of two ways, I'd think. If you want to leave it just CD, you could do something with a group of models, including him, being sent on an isolated location shoot, a couple of the other models turning up pregnant, and their boyfriends going after the photographer as the only known male on the trip--with the dilemma being what the CD does about that, knowing he's the one who did it.

The other way is a gay way and would have several possibilities. But you probably don't want to write that one.

Other girl models together with new cd model is the way to go. More people will be i to that. Maybe drop the pregnancy thing, but interesting idea.
