Assumption. Party is irrelevant. There is always more than one definition to a word or phrase. How many Plumbers are working for a business they did not start?
The amount of wealth, I would think, is irrelevant. You obviously have a greater problem with how they made the money, as in 'shady tactics' -- something I think many in this thread would agree with, hence the good reading.
You're joking right?
You've really got shit twisted. Truth. Fact.
yeah..
You seem to be arguing out of both side of your mouth here:As many as it takes. I pulled a few 70+ hour weeks back in the day to make ends meet.
This----^ is not true, there was one year where it averaged out the same for two years, 2011/2012 inflation calculation, otherwise, it has only ever increased. Also, inflation always matters, you cannot pretend that it doesn't matter.
Look for yourself:

Denial is very strong in your kind.Obviously, you don't.
You like to fuck yourself?

You're all over the map once again.
You seem to be arguing out of both side of your mouth here:
...labels...
- the left side says it's a replacement wage,
- but the right side says you may need to work more than 40 hours a week to make it a "liveable" wage.
It seems you want to have your cake and eat it too here.
These two positions appear to be mutually exclusive.
Are you fucking retarded? Post #354:I'm sure you can explain why they're not

Apparently, people of different political parties believe entirely different things.
Is everyone using a different versions of what is and isn't fact?
Or is it American Exceptionalism vs Left Wing History?
Or are there too many facts? Or too few?
Or is it simply 2 or more distinctly different opinions that refuse to compromise?
Good for you. There you go again, grand scheme...I don't care about inflation vis-a-vis other countries.
Are you fucking retarded? Look at the rate if inflation before 1900 and say that again so I can feel sorry for you.Inflation in the United States has, for over a decade, been within historical averages:
The link I posted. Here is a graph from your site
I've gone on record before with my assertion that the USA should strive for an inflation rate between 3 and 3.5%. Many economists feel, as I do, that that is an optimal number to push wage growth and productivity.
Anything less than that typically results in wage stagnation.
Now why don't you share what you feel an optimal rate of inflation should be.
Denial is very strong in your kind.
lol...those were your words dummy. Adding my post doesn't add anything to help your assertion.
You really aren't any good at this.. that's a good part of why I said you seemed like a query alt.
PayDay said:Which part specifically? Since most of that was agreeing with the OP and you didnt' call him out so clearly there is something you want answered besides there being less work that needs doing.
Ominus prediction:
http://www.wikihow.com/Pick-Up-on-Manipulative-Behavior
This just happened:
#1
Understand the characteristics of a manipulative personality. They're not always obvious because they play a silent game of building up obligations toward them, that end up with you feeling guilty, pressured, and obliged to carry out things for their sake even though you're still wondering how things got to this point.
3
Manipulative people will guide people to do things in certain way. Telling that this is for everyone's good. But actually they don't want to change themselves n want to stay in their comfort zone. So, will tell you stories about how someone actions created problems for everyone. They might scare you by telling sad endings like he/she was asked to leave by everyone. Don't fall prey to their stories. Just do what you think is write and essential. Of course considering others comfort also. But don't sacrifice your rights.
* A martyr style personality. This personality type behaves as if he or she is being considerate toward others but is actually messing up considerateness with a need to be significant to you. By "martyring" themselves, they are doing things nobody has asked of them or wants them to do but in the process creates a bind when they do them. In "doing you a favor", their expectation increases that you have to return the favor. They may also complain constantly about all the things they do for you and wonder rhetorically when you're going to return this favor.
"Here's the thing"
then this was next:
The guilt trip – this manipulative behavior seeks to make you feel guilty and is aimed at sending you into the land of "should" rather than standing up for your own values.
The assumption statement – this manipulative tactic seeks to turn your behavior into what the beholder perceives it as, whether or not their interpretation is accurate. Soon leads to a guilt trip because no matter what, your refutation is proof of the assumption.
Oh look what happened....
So no matter what I say this is coming next:
10
Beware of people who twist and distort facts to make them appear more attractive.
Game Over. cwutididthar?
What was the genesis of the stupidity behind this concept of "living wage?"
By definition "minimum" wage is an entry level wage. As in "I would rather pay you nothing, or maybe do without your position than pay you."
Why would the lowest scale job in all of society pay enough to "earn a living." These are jobs designed to give one experience at the concept of getting out of bed, being on time, and following directions.
Technically you should have to pay for the training involved.
If everyone in society could simply roll off the turnip truck and do something, anything, no matter how marginally it contributes to a business and survive, what would ever be the point of acquiring skills, training and/or education?
If you cannot contribute enough on a minimum wage job to add enough value to get a raise, ever, without the government putting a metaphorical gun to the head of your employer you should not be encouraged to think of yourself as appropriate breeding material. You should not be encouraged to get an apt, a girlfriend and for sure not a kid.
It never was. It was designed to be an entry level wage, but socialists having dumbed down the level of learning in the United States to a noncompetitive level, now strive to make it a living wage in order to keep their constituency alive long enough to make to the next election.
Are you fucking retarded? Stop before I do to you what I just did to bob. (see above post #459)

Thanks for being a stereotype.
Zero.
I must have missed that thing about ideal inflation being zero. I'm curious Pay Day, are you aware of the monumental amount of work the government would have to put into maintaining a zero percent inflation rate? I mean it's not impossible but the amount of power they would need to wield and the prophetic powers they would need to possess in order to make that work?

#393: http://forum.literotica.com/showpost.php?p=62254723&postcount=393That's some mighty thin gruel there. You give us the textbook definition of a reservation wage from a college midterm you found online. Please share with the class if you believe that the minimum wage is in fact a reservation wage, and if so, is it enough for a single person to live on.
Feel free to use your google-fu.
I already did? Making an argument is not having an argument. The midterm is for info, not the question.
Of course, you have no common sense, or economic knowledge on which to rely. Milton Friedman made that case long ago.

I post in kind. You're the one obsessed with ascribing your characteristics of dishonor and racialist tendency, while wishing harm on other people's wives and children.
Oh yes. Work is good. I'm workingon #461 right now![]()
