Gloat then blame Obama some more.
It don't work like that. A dozen high-profile Pubs are now weighing their chances for the presidential nomination and laying plans to fight each other for it -- and are assuming that whoever gets it will have to go up against HRC.

I don't think that's gonna hold true this cycle. I think you'll see the Wall Street Republicans anoint a Favored Son early this time, if for nothing else to short circuit the presidential ambitions of one Theodore Cruz.

Why, do you anticipate such behavior on his part?
He is signaling it. Is this the sort of thing you would want him to do?
This is the biggest Republican Congress since the 1920s. Does it occur to anyone here that that did not happen because of how much 'the people' agreed with what the Democrat agenda, tactics and rhetoric have been since 2008?

If only they were going to lose in 2 years. I have a terrible feeling the country has now turned towards ignorance and hate. Compassion is no longer a concept for the majority of American's and it's really fucking sad.

Midterm elections and general elections might as well be taking place in two separate countries. You can't draw any conclusions about 2016 based on yesterday.
Besides, Reagan, Clinton, and Obama were all re-elected with varying degrees of ease after bad midterms. Reagan lost the Senate in 1986, but GHW Bush, a mediocre at best politician, had little trouble replacing him. Generic D still has to be favored over Generic R in two years. Of course, the candidate does matter.

I'm at a point that it doesn't matter who controls the Senate/House, they are all dirty corrupt scumbags. D or R not one of those sorry excuses for human beings gives a rats ass about the people and none of them deserve their seat and that goes for the current and past president as well.
