What is it? Anyone have any thoughts/feelings about it?

A couple of the sites I follow have started banging on about it. 'The new Facebook', 'authors are flocking to TSU', that kind of thing.

I think, oh, fucking great another obsessive site where people can spend all day instead of doing their jobs or raising their kids or pretty much doing anything, but gossiping and playing games.

Or will it just be another page to keep updated?

So far, I have pages/profiles/accounts at:
Twitter
Facebook
Amazon (UK & US)
Smashwords
Goodreads
My website
LinkedIn (though I'm not really there)

What have I missed out? And where do you stop? Or do you?

Yeah, that was my first thought, along with, 'Oh shit, yet another thing to keep away from/updated.'

I swear the whole reason teens are on top of all of this is that they are the only ones with the time to devote to it! Ugh Nevermind trying to remember all of the passwords...

Yeah, I have a Facebook page for both my pen names, but only use one to just keep up with some friends and family. The other is languishing as I tend to ignore it.

I have two websites that really don't require much, except when I add a new book.

And here at lit...whoopy.

Twitter, Instagram, and all those other bullshit places I ignore.

There was a thread on here where someone asked what do you use to chat. I answered...the phone.

Don't chat, don't text, although I do use teamspeak when playing games with some buddies...used to use Skype but no more.

If they allow pictures of a female nipple, breastfeeding etc, but not people being beheaded (unless the opposite case at Facebook) then they might stand a chance.

Usual advice applies: If it costs nothing to register a username/handle then go grab it.

So I bit and registered, why not. First thoughts are that it shows a lack of polish at the moment. There are some links that lead to dead ends and coding errors. I like that you can format your pictures that you post, unlike Facebook that doesn't let you edit them at all.

You will need a member code to sign up, feel free to use mine: https://www.tsu.co/JC_Winchester or you can use the one they are advertising right now: https://www.tsu.co/invite
