Hello Skippy and welcome!
My favorite breakfast lately, egg white omelette with spinach, mushrooms, carrots, and salsa. Sounds weird but it's really good. I still have to remind myself I need to eat breakfast!
I need someone to misbehave with....

My favorite breakfast: 3-egg omelette with ham, onions, mushrooms, and hash browns--inside AND outside. Sometimes called a "farmer's omelette" or "country omelette". Salsa with eggs is surprisingly good; my son turned me on to it a few years back, and I love it.

Have you tried a gypsy omelette? Hashbrowns with peppers, onions, mushrooms, and any other mixin you would like, topped with sunny side eggs and salsa. It's a little different approach. I just made a whey protein shake with apples, cinnamon, and nutmeg for my snack. Yum! I need to create a hot cocoa shake for the winter... Breakfast is my favorite meal, raising the kids I would get up every morning and make them a hot breakfast before school, still get up every morning and make something hot, today it was bacon, 3 eggs, and rye toast, large hot cup of coffee., tomorrow sausage biscuits and gravy, need something to stick, working outside. So if you would like breakfast come on over.

When I was going back and forth to Atlanta for an installation build, the first thing I would do after getting off the plane and renting a car was drive to the nearest Waffle House and order a big helping of biscuits and gravy with a side bowl of grits (butter and salt, thank you). You just can't get them up north--at least, not made right.

I don't know how it was in the rest of the state but Oakland County was about perfect today. I wish we could have a few more moths of this weather.

I second the motion. I had stuff to do around the outside, and it was absolutely perfect weather for it. I need to finish painting the trim in the front, and if the weather holds for another two weeks I'll be able to complete the job before the snow sets in.
It's too bad there isn't someplace in the US where it's 60-65 degrees all year...

I was reading a blog What Michiganers Have To Explain To Out-of-Towners, it was hilarious. I love our state! One of the things I*didn't realize until after reading was the expression "door wall", it has been pushed into my vocabulary, I don't even know how, and it's called a "sliding door" anywhere else? And what flavor is "Superman" ice cream anyways?
