I've never been on a site like this, but I find that it's very informative. Considering my very bad introduction to a D/s relationship, that had an extremely bad ending. After two long years I finally found a way out. I did find a man that knew what it was really all about, and treated me right. In return, I treated him right, for almost 20 years. He is no longer in this world, and I miss him. So, I guess I'm trying to find an outlet. I hope this wasn't too depressing.

I'm not a pity party, seeking sympathy or attention kind of person. I'm extremely headstrong and opinionated, at least that's what my husband always said.

I have a difficult time understanding someone so desperate for a relationship that they would let their partner beat them. I guess I'm just not as evolved as youall.

The GB is a wonderful place, but it does take a thick skin and the ability to pretend the ugly that gets posted doesn't exist.
