Happiness is when morning comes and my wife says: "I'm sore and can barely walk... but it was worth it!"

What is happiness to you?

Depending upon my mood, happiness is:

- a hot bath, a good smutty book, and a glass of wine.

- being snuggled up under the covers with my youngest, while reading and laughing uproariously at Captain Underpants.

- lying spoon fashioned with my honey, exhausted as all hell from the day, but still sleepily caressing each other as we drift off to dreamland.

-beating the pants off my wicked smart 15 year old son in Scrabble! :D

Those are just a few that come to mind.

A cup of brandy laced coffee while I watch the sun rise on the deck.

That feeling of pleasant exhaustion after a good work out

Finishing another erotic story and posting it either here or for sale.

A monthly friendly pool tournament with guys I've known going on thirty years at this point

My wife's bright green eyes and huge smile.

Being secure enough that I don't have to post that I fuck my wife so hard she can barely walk:rolleyes:

Happiness is:

- Swinging (on an actual swing, perverts)

Yes! So much fun! But it's getting more difficult to find swing sets on public playgrounds. I guess the powers that be are too afraid of potential lawsuits from idiot parents when their kid gets hurt doing something stupid.

Wow. Cranky, much?

A little checking into post history suggests the OP and his wife are having the time of their lives after being in a major slump for years. It that isn't cause for celebration, I don't know what is.

Seriously, dude. Learn something about people before making snap judgements. Maybe you'll come across as less of an ass that way.

knowing that a small, seemingly inconsequential action on my part has made someone else's day brighter.

Happiness is....

That first cup of tea of a morning.

A plant I have nurtured opening its first flower.

My Thursday evenings spent singing and being stupid with my daughter because my wife is out and not buzzkilling us because we are a bit too loud and our singing sucks.

A PM in my inbox.

Eating food that I grew myself in my garden.

The fireworks that go off in my head after a bit of self pleasure.

My YIM blinking at me.

:rose:

Happiness is:

~ Holding my dog.
~ Talking on the phone with my best friend from HS.
~ Seeing all the flowers in my garden flourish.
~ Feeling the sun warm my body.
~ Hearing someone say "I love you."

- The love and affection I receive as I leave for work then come home to that same love and affection.

- Every time I succeed at doing something someone said I couldn't do, especially when that someone is myself.

- Surrounding myself with people who accept me for the person I am.

- Winning a competition by a nose.

- Every time an anticipated movie/album/video game exceeds my expectations.

- The apex of every orgasm ;)

If how I came across bothered me, I would be like the rest of the PC herd and only say nice things.

You'll have to pardon my disdain for the male ego...no actually you don't have to pardon anything.

Grown men who brag like teenage frat boys are annoying to me. "Yo dude, should have seen me last night, like a fucking pron star I was! Huh...huh...huh...you said porn....huh...."

Sorry, but, no.

When it comes to sex act like you've been there before and will be again.

Happiness is speaking your mind even when your opinion is not popular.

Maybe it meant they gutted someone they didn't like?

Zombies are known for going for brains so....

hey it got everyone to think anyway.

If zombies are known for going for brains, why do you never see them chomping on someone's head? Not only that, but shouldn't most zombies have their heads half eaten?

These are the things I think of when I'm bored when the power goes out...

But I digress, more happy thoughts!

- Happiness is seeing your children happy.

Only the male ego? Color me amused, as you give the impression you disdain anyone who doesn't think the way you do. Witness your totally uninformed rant at Fire Breeze a couple of weeks back wrt to weight issues and hypothyroidism. I notice you had no problem publicly calling her out in her own thread, but you've yet to demonstrate the integrity to issue an equally public apology.

Your theory regarding sexual relationships is a nice fantasy, but most of us know it doesn't always work out that way. Sometimes there's no reviving that which has died, no matter how much those involved will/wish it otherwise.

If the OP came across as a self centered ass concerned with only on his own pleasure, perhaps I could see your point. But his post history suggests otherwise, and I'll cheer on anyone intent on becoming a better partner.

As for being PC? It's not a notion I hold with. I'll speak my mind when I believe it's called for. That said, I don't think disagreeing with someone calls for acting like the back end of a mule. This world would be a hell of a lot of a better place if more people exhibited courtesy and kindness. It's an attitude that's served me well throughout my life, and something that IMX, most people are pleasantly surprised to be on the receiving end of, given it's apparent rarity these days. Idealistic? Perhaps. I'm fine with it.

LC and me have our battles but he's honest. smart, talented, and courageous.

Happiness is getting the results I want, and recognizing what the best results are. That is, I'm happy when I'm wise.

Hmm.... I don't see them in schools here, we didn't have them in my schools growing up either, but in every public playground they're there.

As equipment gets updated, more parks just aren't replacing them. I figure it's got to be pressure from the city lawyers, et al because the city has to carry insurance, too. I also know for a fact that the HOA in our former neighborhood took them out on advise from their counsel.

And we wonder why we have a reputation for being the most litigious country in the world.

Happiness is a bald pussy, especially one that was shaved by it's own personal admirer!

Viva la hairlesso pusseo! :D

Correction, happiness is being able to show your appreciation for that admiration and then return the favor in kind.

waking up to a gorgeous morning and knowing a new brunch location is going to be put through its paces today. :D
