Family visited a nudist commune for years while growing up. Always grew up thinking the human body was a beautiful thing to be honored. Then I got older and found out it was supposed to be covered and never talked about. I miss those days

My bf and I to took part in a Spencer Tunick naked photographic shoot, almost 3000 naked people being photographed at an iconic location near where we live. It was amazing how quickly I stopped noticing people's nakedness and even being conscious of my own. It was very liberating and we then decided to go to a clothing optional campsite. That was great fun. Only one or two others who caught our attention really, apart from each other! I thoroughly enjoyed purposefully giving him a hard on that he then had to try and hide! Sunbathing naked was excellent though, would love to be able to do that more often!

I was part of a large group nude pic at waters edge in Venice Beach a few years ago and one up in Topanga Canyon before that. I also was part of several at Burning Man a few years ago, but everybody does that right?

You're right Talulan that you stop noticing other people's nakedness and even your own when you're in an awe inspiring setting. For me, and it seemed most around me, it made us all feel closer to the Earth and the natural elements than anything else.

I remember trying to talk my wife into joining in when the second group pic in Venice Beach was being organized. She was (and remains) far too body conscious to even consider doing such a thing even for minute. *Sigh*

My wife abs I have been interested in this for a while now, but I'm not very comfortable being naked in public. I'm always afraid of being judged. How is the environment with other patrons? And I know I sound like a little kid right now but what happens if I do get hard walking around?

I think it's something everyone should at least try. If you cannot be comfortable with nudity, yours and other people's, then isn't there something a little wrong. Literally all of us have the same parts as someone else. Maybe a little variation in the sizes. lol.

I definitely enjoy home nudism - I'll be doing some yard clean-up nude this weekend! - but haven't yet found the right opportunity to try social nudism.

Been going to nude beaches for years. I love the freedom and there is nothing like feeling a warm breeze blowing on your body. There is also a very sensual feeling from the sun's rays on your skin. GF and I often enjoy having sex under a late afternoon sun.

I've dabbled in naturism a few times since last summer. It is relaxing but a little tense sometimes to be fully naked around others, especially if there's a crowd. I prefer to be on my own or with friends.

Toplessness is a little different and I have been topless a few times at the beach since my early teens.
