Incompetent or malicious?

Via Mediaite:

White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest today reaffirmed that the government doesn’t think a travel ban between the U.S. and countries affected with Ebola is a good idea. Fox News’ Ed Henry asked, “Why is it still appropriate for the U.S. to allow people to fly to America from the hot zone?”

Earnest said, “Quite simply, Ed, because there are––there’s a multi-layered screening protocol that’s in place to ensure that individuals that may have symptoms consistent with Ebola are not even able to board planes in West Africa.”

He said plenty of people haven’t been allowed on planes for that very reason, and there’s additional screening for any American who flew to that part of the world and wants to reenter the country.

He did acknowledge such screening is not in place for domestic flights, a possible reference to the health care worker who flew from Cleveland to Dallas a day before showing symptoms.

Ebola isn't that easy to contract, from what i understand. You pretty much have to try to get it, take care of someone who has it, or really fuck up to get it. This isn't like the damn flu. So a travel ban on places with Ebola is a gross overreaction.

lets assume this is correct

THEY STILL SHOULDNT ALLOW INCOMING FLIGHTS

Its prudent

you, vette, query, fatassjerryinflorida, forest dump....you don't have to worry about contracting ebola...cause you are always here. That would take getting off this board and going outside..

So you think, what? The nurses that contracted it didn't wash their hands? Fucked the patient? CONTACT with a contaminated patient and any mucous membrane does it. Including sweat.

The flu and the common cold CAN be airborne, but it is well documented that it is mostly transmitted hand to hand. It seems to have no problem at all spreading.

The idea of the Ebola virus becoming airborne is not far-fetched and its ability to enter cells that line the trachea and lungs has been shown under controlled laboratory conditions, a Purdue University virus expert says.

David Sanders, an associate professor of biological sciences who has studied the Zaire strain of Ebola virus that is responsible for the current outbreak in West Africa, says the possibility of the virus becoming airborne should not be discounted.

"It is not unprecedented for a virus to change its mode of transmission," he says. "Ebola does share some of the characteristics of airborne viruses like influenza, and we should not disregard the possibility of it evolving into something that could be transmitted in this way."

A research team led by Sanders and collaborators from the University of Iowa established that the Zaire strain of Ebola virus could enter the epithelial cells that line the human airway in a paper published in the Journal of Virology in 2003. The experiment used a pseudotyped virus, which was built with the Ebola virus envelope proteins, or outer shell. The inside of the virus was that of a retrovirus to prevent replication of the Ebola virus and to more easily separate the functions of the outer and inner portions of the virus, he said.

"We were studying at the cellular level how the virus enters cells and showed it could enter human airway epithelial cells," Sanders says. "However, there are many factors beyond its ability to enter these cells that influence how a virus is transmitted. To be airborne it must be present on tiny droplets from a cough or sneeze and must be able to live outside of the body for a certain length of time. This is not how the virus is currently known to spread, but it is evidence that it has some of the necessary components for respiratory transmission."

Sanders, who also has expertise in the transmission of viruses from animal to animal and animals to humans, also points to the influenza virus as an example of how a virus can switch from one mode of transmission to another. In birds, its natural host, influenza virus infects the intestinal tract and is transmitted by feces. In mammals, such as humans, it has respiratory route of transmission. Only a small number of mutations are required to alter the host and mode of transmission, he says.

The death toll from the current Ebola outbreak continues to rise. More than 2,200 deaths have been attributed to the virus and there are 4,269 probable, confirmed and suspected cases in Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone, according to the World Health Organization.

the CDC turd says

we needa allow INFECTED peeps in

to keep disease OUT

I assume THAT makes sense to a DUMMY like Nobola!

Take a wild ass guess how many refunds the cruise ship has to pay because a stupid fucking woman exposed to ebola took her cruise anyway. And a stupid fucking nurse flew to Ohio anyway....exposing 800 people.

this CDC turd, worked with Bloomberg to prohibit 16oz drinks

so......
if the Nobola peeps, were to hold a 16oz soda en route to US, they would be banned:cool:

does THIS make sense to anyone?

Since Ebola Outbreak, Obama Administration Has Made It Easier for West Africans Who Come to America

The Obama Administration has gone beyond simply refusing to take the obvious common sense measure of restricting flight into the USA from countries where Ebola is raging out of control. It is actually going out of its way to encourage, facilitate, and expedite the immigration of potential vectors from these countries into ours — specifically because of Ebola:

[US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS, a division of Obama fundraiser Jeh Johnson's Department of Homeland Security)] has been waiving fees, expediting the immigration process, and allowing extensions of visas for anyone coming from the three designated Ebola-stricken countries, provided that they are in the United States. The Free Republic blog reported that the law firm of Edward W. Neufville, III, LLC, a Washington, D.C. area immigration firm, added a section to their website two days after the USCIS announcement, with more details about how these relief measures would work, including extensions of the time that the foreign national could remain in the United States, additional work permit opportunities, and even forgiveness for failure to appear at required interviews or submit required evidence. According to the Neufville firm, the new USCIS policies mean that “ndividuals from Liberia, Sierra Leone, and Guinea currently in the United States may apply for an extension or change in status due to the Ebola Outbreak, even if their request is filed after the authorized period of admission has expired.” Otherwise stated, this means that someone from one of those countries who illegally overstayed their visa can now apply for an extension, or someone who arrived illegally can apply to get legal status.

Thomas Eric Duncan, the Liberian man who died from Ebola earlier this month, had traveled to the United States after his visa was approved in August, the same month that USCIS announced the new relief measures. One of the concerns many have had about the Ebola crisis is the lure those in the affected countries would — quite understandably — feel toward the advanced sanitation standards and medical care available in American hospitals, similar to how open borders, social services, and in-state tuition have been criticized as creating “magnets” for immigrants to illegally cross the U.S. – Mexican border. These specific USCIS policies do not apply to those who are not yet in the United States and are seeking a visa to leave Guinea, Liberia, or Sierra Leone, but the more generous rules that await them once they arrive likely create further incentives for them to attempt to travel here.

Even as other African countries seal their borders against the Ebola Zone, Obama steadfastly refuses to prevent potential vectors from continuing to pour into the country from Liberia, Sierra Leone, and Guinea. As Doug Ross emphasizes, once they get here, they are home free, and qualify for the special treatment outlined above.

If thousands of Americans end up dying of Ebola, Obama will be remembered for two words. They won’t be hope and change. They will be treason and genocide.

Ebola is not in America because of incompetence. Ebola is in America of because of deliberate decisions of the Obama regime to spread this disease because it’s not fare that only poor Africans get it.

This seems plausible to me

I watched his peeps
