Also as far as my views go. I'm a male and only read the first book. He just seemed to be very controlling and showed off his money alot. Which meant a didn't continue reading it.

However that is my male view. Which is why I would like to hear from female readers of the book.

I have a friend that was readying it last year. She is in some book club. I of course had heard all about the book, that it was so erotic, etc. So I thought I would read it. I didn't get that far in it. Just the concept of it seems ... well, stupid to me. But mostly, i thought the writing was just horrible. Its like its written by an eighth grader. I do not plan to see the movie, and even the friend i mentioned said she doesnt care to see the movie either.

Nothing wrong with that, but I thought it makes him an odd choice. That, and from what I saw of the trailer, he (the actor) isn't very sexy. Or much of an actor, like everyone else involved.

Shades of Shit isn't a book lovers choice. Everyone I know who's read it and liked it never read normally, therefore their opinion can't be trusted. Plus they are fucking weirdos. I mean....don't read and that's your first choice?

I think Twilight is fine for tweens. Adults, not so much.
