Hey everyone.
I'm a new author on Literotica, and I've been writing my own stories for some time now. I recently submitted submitted my first story to the Non consent/reluctance category and it's doing alright.

My thing is, that I'm a 23 year old mother and wife and by the time I write, Edit, and rewrite my stories all I see on the screen are symbols! I don't always catch certain things. I'm in need of an Editor for grammar, and constructive purposes. I do pretty well on my own, but you can always use a fresh pair of eyes.

I have tried contacting a few Editors listed on the site. I went through Biographies, I looked for those who had logged on recently, and those who were willing to edit in the wide range of categories I like to write for. Waited a week for each. I only received one response and was excited!. However he was looking for something a little off subject, though his comment on me being a "hot little MILF" was rather flattering.

I'd like to have a few experienced and creative people to help me with my writing and editing. Open minds are welcome! As a young, tattooed, bisexual I get my stories from a very secret, private place. I'd appreciate any advice! Message me too, please. I'm quite friendly.

* To switch on your Private Messages, go to User CP (top left of this page), click on Edit Options (in the left hand column), and then tick Enable Private Messaging in the second box down. Make sure that the next box down (Receive Private Messages only from Buddies and Moderators) is NOT ticked. Finally, click Save Changes at the bottom of that page.

Gracias.
That would explain a few things.

Welcome to the AH. Now you're part of the writer's club. Rule #1 - Don't talk about the writer's club... wait scratch that.. that's rule 1 of another club I'm part of.

Congrats on the first story. Put a link of it on this thread and we can read it.

Have you tried looking in the Editors' Forum? There is a sticky thread on top showing active editors for the month. These editors are more active and likelier to be of help.

Ah well, what can I say? Occupational hazard of being female on this forum. You might want to harden that skin for the nastier ones you will undoubtedly encounter soon.

Best of luck with this.

You can use the Author's Hangout, the Story Feedback Forum and the Story Discussion Circle to see what people like on this site. Feel free to make more threads and ask questions here, most folks are genuinely helpful (you'll learn to distinguish them soon enough).

Oh and at this point, I am compelled to remind you of a time-honored tradition here in the AH where new female posters must publish nude photos of themselves (front, back and side) in their first threads. These photos must stay up for three days until TxRad... I mean everybody has downloaded them. If you feel shy doing so, you can send the photos to me directly.

Jokes aside, sit back, relax and have fun because that's what we're all here for, right? Don't feed the trolls.

Ah yes, you're on a roll this morning trying to scare the newbies. You must have gotten out of the wrong side of the bed this morning. By the way you look delicious in your wife's pink robe. ;)

Welcome to Lit as an author. I'm an old married and retired guy and I can relate with you about the screen seeming to be a jumble after a while. I've always tried to do my own editing and no matter how many times I read it over, print and edit and reprint and edit, there's always a spelling police comment or feedback pointing out the ones I missed.

You got a hundred percent more responses from editors than I did.

Sit back and enjoy the ride, and don't forget the nude pics. ;)

Ha, thank you. And as I said I'm working on the nudes.
Yes the are always grammar Nazis. Won't give a girl a break.

Welcome to Lit, from one fellow writer to another. :) Always here for advice, suggestions, whatever you wish.

I would suggest publishing a story and at the end put an author's note saying you are seeking an editor. Or reach out to commenters. Someone who already likes your stories is more likely to take the time to provide you support. The person I am currently using as an editor volunteered to do so in a comment to one of my stories.
