Saving money is good, right? I kid. I know you're very serious about what you do.

When I build for myself I will cut corners but when I have deals here I don't low ball a job because it's usually a lump sum or cost plus so there isn't a lot of incentive to come in too low on my budget. I run such a tight ship that I never use my contingency budget unless it snows for 6 months so the profit is usually respectable and owners love working with me.

Plus I give a mean blowjob.

Sorry for being so long winded.

its a design-build job? those are fun. when shit fucks up, the blame game is like musical chairs. :)

No, my design input was minimal on this one, the owners forced me to work with their design firm. Ugh.

UGH.

Smart and good with the oral sex. That's quite a combo!!!

Nah, I'll do the right thing because that's how I build things but I won't have to like it!

i'm glad. oldies are always being stuck with cheap crap & shortcuts. but regardless of what anyone says, including the oldies, environment matters and impacts on mental wellbeing. you're a good egg

nobody likes working with designers.

Believe me, this facility is nicer than any mixed-use apartment building I've ever built. I will be proud of it once I'm done looking at taupe.

london - T.B capital of the developed world

Redbridge is the first to reintroduce the spitting ban that helped defeat it once before. now all the other boroughs need to get on it.

while they're about it, they should also ban footballers gobbing all over the pitch - young fans see them doing it and suddenly it's considered fine to do it all over the damned pavements. disgusting. i don't want to play dodge-the-bodily fluids as i walk to the bus stop or shop. damned filthy habit and how T.B spread so fast before.

If Brits call their yard a garden, what do they call their garden?

what is it you quantify as a garden that's not the same as your yard?

over here, a yard is generally grassless, lacking in ornamentation, and more for the purpose of storing refuse bins and equipment kept in sheds or lock-ups, so a space for practical rather than aesthetic purposes. a garden is usually any combination of grass/planting/trees/shrubbery/ponds/prettyshit.

What do you call the place where you plant tomatoes, peppers and squash?

So if I have a small garden in the back part of my yard, I really have an allotment in my garden?

If you have a big one you wouldn't need an allotment. Allotments are patches of land you rent here to plant veg, keep bees etc. My mate has one about half a mile from his house and grows the best stuff.

Used to be an old man thing, but not anymore.

vegetable patch

Vegetable patch? Allotment!
allotment, ha :D that'll confuse him

So if I have a small garden in the back part of my yard, I really have an allotment in my garden?
are you saying part of your garden is given over to a vegetable patch?

allotments are parcels of land (small) that residents can rent from the council (or have them allotted to them - war time growing veggies started this all off) where they can grow food for the family. allotments aren't in your garden but on a separate piece of land that can be divided into lots of allotments.
