There are four or five drives ins left in Maine. The one in Skowhegan had a Stephen King film festival this summer to raise the funds to purchase digital equipment.

Bucket list
I love the old silly snack bar ad's.
The dancing hot dogs etc.
lol
I've been to many!
And yes,Lori needs to put this on her bucket list. Maybe we'll take her when we get together for the Lit Girls super secret Lit-together.
We'll do it! I do remember my best friend and I finding an abandoned one and stopping to take some pics. It was kind of creepy. I need to see if I can dig those up.
Now they use radio stations. None that I've seen have the speaker anymore.
I must have seen this one 200 times at the Pride's Corner Drive In when I was a kid.

Oohhhh I'd LOVE to take pics of that. I love that kind of thing. Process them in B&W.

LOL, this was back in the 80s. I'm not even sure I can find any of them.
Have you seen the pics of the old and decrepit Olympic venues? Thats weird.
That is an outstanding idea, make it so!
Back in the truck and then snug up!
I have a truck!
Well then I'll just take pics of you.
NO I haven't but check this out. I read it on the Huffington Post Yesterday. I think it's fascinating. They found an entire abandoned town. There's also a link towards the end to an article about an abandoned renaissance fair.

Oh, I will!
I've been to one drive-in. We were out in Ohio on our annual summer road trip. The double feature was Harriet the Spy and Down Periscope - a fun time. I checked out the one in our state and they have strict rules about searching cars for food, animals, and hiding people.
Or a station Wagon like my family. Awesome memories.
