I'm going to say about you what I said about AJ, whether people love you, hate you, or have no opinion one way or the other, no one can argue your presence didn't have an impact on the way the board evolved. Based upon that criteria, you deserve HOF status and I hope Q ignores your request.

p.s. has any thread that's gone longer than 4 pages on the GB ever NOT been a mess? It's what makes the GB, the GB. Now hush and get up on that friggin riser and accept your damned sash and tiara. ;)

If you have a static IP address that might be possible, however, many people have dynamic IP addresses, so there is not an absolute one to one correlation.

No, but over time it sure correalates, you see x number of posts from SweetUser1 at IP address 123.255.255.123 and also y number of posts from NastyAlt1 at the same address, you can pretty much assume they are one and the same person, even if they do post from 9 or 10 other addresses (coffee shop wifis, work IP, etc).

I feel someone with that sort of pathological mindset to invest time in active multiple alts would much rather stay stationary in front of a computer in a secluded, isolated, private surrounding (like mom's basement or a refurbished one-window attic) where they can concentrate freely without self-consciousness rather than in a fluid, chaotic and socially exposed environment like a free Wi-Fi coffee shop.

Gone for a while and I miss all the popularity contests! Seriously, seeing these names brings up memories...

Garnate I still talk to and she knows I lurve her something special so I'm not further inflating her ego by voting for her.

I do adore me some Luna, and spacekowboy, and a lot of the others. Why are these so tough? I'm glad I missed the first none rounds.
