I could see my breath outside. Tomorrow will be a good ride, with the crunch of leaves under hooves and a snorty spirit chomping the bit.

it spits at us here...

the late summer heat
sticks around like a halo.

the geography that protects
turns around now to...
gnaw.

i spit at this heat.
it hasn't nads enough to stay...
yet.

I wouldn't last a week. I'd pull a wicked witch of the west and be a puddle on the floor.

you'd be fine.
comforts, that become custom,
come mostly from how the uncomfortable find way to adapt...

you'd be fine anyway.
i know this guy...

has the coming changed, thor?

that you have noticed?

It's different every year.

When I was a youngster, snow on the flatlands before Oct 23 was not expected to stick. Halloween is generally a snowy time. A couple years ago, it snowed in the last week of Sept, and stuck.

All I can say, is it's always different.

It always pays to know a guy.

Hi, guy.

Oh, that's nothing. The traffic light the car that the photographer is in is at the light next to the old A&W on Dimond Blvd. Campbell Creek is at the bottom of the draw halfway toward the next light. To the right, are the spendy houses on Campbell Lake, where people can park their float planes next to their house. At the next light, the bike trail comes up from Campbell Creek and proceeds down Victor Road. You might see me riding across there, on nice sunny days.
