I have been whining about the nominations. If LJ had been nominated, he would've won hands down because who- past, present or future- hasn't heard of that (pea)nutcase???

About the sig- I used to have something of the sort. Unfortunately I seem to have the kind of persona here that everyone takes everything I post seriously. Must be a hidden clause of the Indian mysticism package.

Shoeless Joe Jackson was one of the greatest baseball players of all time. He was banned from the Baseball Hall of Fame because of his involvement in the Black Sox Scandal.

Every week after the first, I opened the nominations to whoever wanted to chime in. The procedure was that whoever got the most seconds would go on the ballot. In a couple of cases, I broke ties with my own second, because, unfortunately, vBulletin only allows 10 options in a poll.

LT never had enough seconds to qualify. If you felt so strongly about it, you could have tried to actually make a case for him, instead of just whining.

Nonsense, my fatassed friend. Since my doctor upped my dosage from 25mg to 100mg, I'm always good for a second and a third, and sometimes a fourth.

What a shame that your "heart condition" precludes you from taking it.

I'm just saying it's the whole board's fault, not Q's. And you might be surprised about the voting—but I guess we'll never know.

Oh! how I understand your predicament. People still have trouble understanding when I'm being serious. But, then, "The Society of Persons Who Often Respond to Things Which Are Obviously Jokes in a Serious Manner, and Occasionally Respond to Things Which are Not Jokes in Any Way in a Manner Somewhat Less Serious Than Their Nature Might Reasonably Be Thought to Require" was also named and co-founded by Byron.

So, our public relations record on being understood is not great.

I think I can tell usually when you're not serious, but I'm not sure if that's common.
