A few days ago there was an article expressing how the enlisted corps and junior officers no longer trust the senior officers in the Navy. Their complaint was essentially PC run amok.

And today there is an identical claim from members of the Secret Service regarding their top management.

There are certain organizations, due to the nature of their missions, that cannot tolerate the overly-sensitive, touchy feely, over the top political correctness that is being forced on these organizations in a top down manner. It leads to poor attitudes that lead to poor performance.

Unfortunately, in the minds of some, the solution is more of the same.

It was posited to Michael Savage by a caller that perhaps the "Alleged" Army-Veteran's (don't dare call him a liberal lunatic watermelon) sudden appearance paralyzed the agents with doubt about the proper manner of approaching a Hispanic with any form of violence (see Ferguson) for fear of career...

;)

... after all, their boss doesn't want them fenced out. He only fences out veterans, business owners and school tours.

In theory the Secret Service (SS? :)) doesn't answer to the POTUS, they are mission driven. In a practical sense that isn't quite true in that the POTUS has the ability to name the head of the service. As is also the case in regards to the military.

In both cases, and undoubtedly more, the process and procedures associated with PC indoctrination are in conflict with the mission they are tasked to perform. It falls into the mind set of waging a polite and bloodless war (reminding me of an old Star Trek episode).

Ishmael's cancer-ravaged brain seems to have forgotten about the concept of chain of command.

Tell us again, unka Ish, how the military decides who to go to war with.
