WHEN EXCUSES DON’T WASH: On “60 Minutes,” the president faulted his spies for failing to predict the rise of ISIS. There’s one problem with that statement: The intelligence analysts did warn about the group.

Says one former Intel officer: “Either the president doesn’t read the intelligence he’s getting or he’s bullshitting.”

:cool:Or both.

See Bush and Iraq WMD's.

That's exactly what we see. A guy putting boots on the ground based on faulty intelligence in a country where we have absolutely no business. The only difference between the two is now you're yelling GO GEORGIE GO!!!

Admittedly the guy in charge is ultimately responsible. But you have to admit generally American intelligence gathering is so fucking amateurish as to be a threat to the nation. First overblown threat of WMDs in Iraq. Now no real threat from Syria. Impotent and fucking incompetent.

Support the FBI because the CIA can't detect threats outside the US. They should stick to engineering coups in banana republics. Or assassinations by drones (is a carbomb any different?)

They got the mass graves and torture prisons correct...

:(

President Obama can't even acknowledge that.

Wikipedia could have told them that. Any liberal human rights group is better informed. As for torture prisons.. Abu Ghraib, Guantanamo, CIA renditions to other countries. CIA probably tortures just slightly less than old KGB. And a whole less effectively too.

hell. those water boarded can become Oh Limp Ick swimmers....make millions:D

he always BLAMES someone else

he is perfect

everyone else is an asshole

What evidence do you have that there is torture at Gitmo?

From everything I've gathered he doesn't attend intelligence meetings so how would he know for certain what his intel people are saying? Everything seems to be plausible deniability on the Occupier-in-Chief's part.

Do you think the CIA and military are treating these guys with kid gloves? If so it's because a metal bar wrapped in kid gloves don't leave a mark. They're using Communist Chinese brainwashing manuals for Christ sake. You think you're going to get a high level guy to talk by being nice to him. I won't be surprised if ex-Mossad agents made a killing training CIA guys in breaking terrorists. Personally I don't think the CIA could break an egg. That's why they render them to other countries for a good filling in.

Obama has had accurate intelligence about ISIS since BEFORE the 2012 election, says administration insider

•A national security staffer in the Obama administration said the president has been seeing ‘highly accurate predictions’ about the rise of the ISIS terror army since ‘before the 2012 election’
•Obama insisted in his campaign speeches that year that America was safe and al-Qaeda was ‘on the run’
•The president said during Sunday’s ’60 Minutes’ program that his Director of National Intelligence had conceded he underestimated ISIS
•But the administration aide insisted that Obama’s advisers gave him actionable information that sat and gathered dust for more than a year
•‘He knew what was at stake,’ the aide said of the president, and ‘he knew where all the moving pieces were’
•Obama takes daily intelligence briefings in writing, he explained, because no one will be able to testify about warning the president in person about threats that the White House doesn’t act on
