I don't see any dichotomy between being a strong woman and being service oriented.

In modern-times it seems popular to adopt an attitude of "I am a strong woman, and therefore I am not put on this earth to serve." Fair enough, not my preference.

My perception of women that like to serve is they tend to seem happy.

Yes on the phone thing. I had a casual friend, who had a couple of boyfriends (I hit her town a couple of times a month.) She had just explained to (was on a break) boyfriend number one that she had met boyfriend number 2 and enjoyed both of their company. Both guys agreed to the arrangement. Boyfriend number one deemed tacitly aware that I have some role.

She was reluctant to mention to boyfriend number two, 'hey there's this guy I like to see when he is in town..."

So she kept answering his texts. WHILE we were inflagranto delecto. I finally gave up mid thrust. Not bitterly so, but I have to not only focus, but get some consistent feedback. I'm getting to be an old man. It's a process.
