Lit is littered - yuck - with many threads started by people without much of a background. And few posts of their own.

And more of a few of those have been people - of both genders - who do take advantage of others who reply.

So caution should be taken by both sides. But note I said caution - not rudeness. Which is my way of saying there were more elegant ways of communicating the above without stating the OP is a guy right away.
