"Darren Wilson, Officer Who Shot Michael Brown, Testifies In Front Of Grand Jury: Report"

"Darren Wilson, the Ferguson police officer who fatally shot unarmed teen Michael Brown last month, testified before a grand jury convened to investigate the shooting on Wednesday, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported.

The paper cited an unnamed source familiar with the investigation that said the Ferguson Police officer, who has been kept out of the public eye since the Aug. 9 shooting, testified for four hours. The source said that Wilson was "cooperative," but no further details were released.

A spokesman for the prosecution would not comment on which witnesses have testified before the grand jury. Prosecutors will present evidence, and the jury will decide whether to charge Wilson.

St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney Robert P. McCulloch has ordered an audio recording of the proceedings, in addition to transcripts. If there is no indictment in the case, those records will be made public, McCulloch told the Post-Dispatch on Wednesday."

Excellent news. Simply excellent.

A lot of people think it's a big deal. Many of them are highly upset he's being allowed to testify before the grand jury. Did you read the comments?

a lot of "people" have an agenda and made up their "minds"

Yes, millions of people have made up their minds. But fortunately, it appears it will only be the minds of the people on the grand jury which will count.

So once again, you're falling victim to the story the press wants to report and what it wants to report is outrage, so it went out and found some.

How fucking original.

It's a huge deal to a great many people. Did you read the fucking comments? A lot of people are outraged he's being allowed to testify before the grand jury.

and you're one of those people.
or else, why generate this thread?

Is this somehow a surprise of some sort? As far as I undestand, him taking the stand at some point would be par for the course, right?

More interresting is what he says when he does.

I'm not falling victim to anything. I'm providing information to those who are interested in the Michael Brown shooting.

The thread police, they live inside of my head
The thread police, they come to me in my bed
The thread police, they're coming to arrest me, oh, no

You know that talk is cheap
...

'Cause they're waiting for me
They're looking for me
Every single night
They're driving me insane
Those men inside my brain

and you're one of those people.
or else, why generate this thread?

No, that's silly. Why did you think I said this is excellent news? I'm highly in favor of Wilson testifying before the grand jury.

No, it's not par for the course. And he's already testified.

I don't think anyone in America is as interested in the topic as you are...

That's obviously wrong. Again, did you read the hundreds of comments already made on Huffpost? No, I'm sure you didn't.

It's a big deal, whether you think it should be or not. A very big deal.

I'm confused. He's already testified before the grand jury? So they recalled him? Recalling a witness isn't unusual.

Why are people upset he's testifying before a grand jury? That's what people do.
(I didn't read the comments because I don't allow most 2nd, 3rd and 4th party scripts to run in my browser and huffington post (like most sites) has a huge list of them that want to run)

Yes, he testified yesterday. And no, he wasn't recalled. It was the first time he testified.

Many people are upset because it's fairly unusual for a potential defendant to testify before a Grand Jury. They would rather see Wilson charged with murder by the DA directly and be forced to defend himself in a court of law. A Grand Jury is not a court of law.

Gee...

I wonder what kind of readers the Huff'nPuff draws on a daily basis?

Consumers of "The Story?"
