Show Me Your Dogs

It's a hat that gangsters used to wear back in the day.

I kind of figured something like that. Knew it had to be something back in the day once you said tommy gun. But that old school Italian mafia ways is not my culture

This is my Spark dog acknowledging a gift of a giant bone

And here he is helping us with our ASPCA fosters- he loved this rabbit so much. Like way more than his toys and shit. He was very protective of him.

And this is the gf's little rat dog who barks at nothing all the time, tastefully arranged in an Easter Basket.

Rat dog lol . Hey it's cute! What breed is your dog Candi?

oh man..I mean girl lol . I totally recognize that 2nd pic, sop typical of them! I have a soft spot for Malamutes but it's so hot in FL.

Definitely too hot in Florida. I find even our New England climate a bit tough for her. We run the AC all summer so she is comfortable. I can't walk her unless it's below 74 which means int eh summer, she's getting less exercise. She is so happy that the cool air has arrived! Soon she'll be eating snow. Did your malamute do that?

U named your dog spartacus? Or that was the name he already had?

He didn't have a name. He was one of a group of pups I fostered and I fell in love with him and couldn't give him back so I officially adopted him. His mom and one of his sisters were placed before they were weaned and when the lady came to pick them up I was filling out the paperwork to adopt Sparks, and she grabbed him (rather than his sister that she had done the paperwork on) and we nearly got in a fist fight over him. She requested a female, she had a pink blanket to pick her up with, and she tried to take my puppy. My obviously male puppy. But yeah, I named him Spartacus because he's strong and loyal and kinda dumb. He has the strength and soul of a gladiator and he absolutely hates the high SES oligarchy. Mostly through jealousy tho, I've come to believe, and less through any underlying political opinions. He wants to be a purse puppy and he's jealous. So it might not be completely accurate. So we call him Sparky, Spark god, Sparks, etc.

Well kodiack died 5 yrs ago. To this day I still get misty eyed because that dog was something special. Living in S.FL it's always hot but Kodi was kept indoors in cool AC. She loved to rough house and was sneaky lol. She was always extra frisky whenever a cold front made it down here. Did I mention she was huge? The top of her head stood 43 inches from the floor. Biggest dog I ever had. Obviously no snow down here.

I worry about Sparky because he has so much hair, so in the summer I try to get him trimmed so he doesn't have to deal with that shit. But it's not as hot as places like Florida. IDK what I'd do with him in a tropical place...

Ninouk copes with Australian summers, believe it or not! She digs a den under the house and sleeps there or inside on the tiles with the aircon on. I take her down the river for a swim before it heats up too much and again in the evening sometimes. She loves the beach too.

Candi, you'd have the Ac set between 77- 75 degrees in the summer
