I practiced my squats for a trip to Turkey a couple of years ago
and have maintained the practice -- read, read, read, stand and do some squats, pace around reading, resume seated reading... such a life!

Unfortunately The type of shoes that do so much to enhance and make legs look so good also screw up feet.

I have never been into shoes and certainly not the high ones which I wore rarely for special dress up events. Those events and the attendant shoes are well in the past. So my feet go barefoot or wear the most comfortable utilitarian shoes when necessary.
