OK, here's a question for all of you:

What REALLY brings you to Lit? Not the obvious, but what lies beneath that.

This allows me to experience without becoming the deviant freak that everyone is looking for. My everyday life sees me as a very straightforward, intelligent, principled individual. The part no one seems to get is that balance take practice, with a heavy dose of experience. You can't get that by "experimenting" in real life.

I like a sense of justice with style. I like people who do calculated things for reaction. I am infinitely patient and don't give up, but I do change my mind about things. I am more about the inner and less about the outer, but individual style accounts for quite a bit. It's about working with what you have and not whining about what is not there.

My favorite is to be that "good boy" who likes to hold lady friends close and whisper things they don't expect. I love the blush when they realize I'm not kidding... They can blame it on a hot flash to the other ladies, be 'we' know where it came from.

Lit helps with that. I get to see what is trying too hard and what is not enough. also get to not feel alone in my deviate freakishness. I also get to post a pic on my profile that is so much me that I grin every time I see it. It's not the mistletoe, it's the twinkle in his eye. My dentist saw it and now I think she is purposefully doing things to make me twinkle. Oooooo, is that ice making my teeth ache?
