I'm curious.

You don't have to give the exact year if you don't want. It's your choice.

I finally put my age on my profile a while back. I thought it would help decrease the unsolicited pm's, but you know how Lit is.

How's that working out for ya lady Ver?
I tried that a while ago and was getting PM's from 20 year olds saying would you be my.mommy?

WFT. I probably am!

Well, it did seem to decrease the mommy requests, but I noticed an uptick in the older gents, which actually is preferable, but I'm not available anyway.

@StrangeLife: Funny :)

Og, King of Bashan, has been dead for a few thousand years, but as you can see he is still virtually alive.

He was the last one of the Pre-Noah's Flood giants.

Do the math on my user id:rolleyes:

I don't know about immortal, but according to my youngest daughter seeing as how only the good die young I should go well over the century mark.

Assume 'immortal' means "over 50" and it looks like a bunch of ye olde farts.

I created dirt. I created the heavens and the underworld. I created the moon, the sun and all the planets. Of course that was my science project in 8th grade. :D

In what year did you recieve such projects of creating the heaven and underworld?:D Maybe the theologists can take some reference...

I might be as old as dirt...

... but, I still make for an awesome seedbed, especially when the right seed man is sowing. ;)

When I was young, dirt was the latest high tech.

When I was young, Fred and Barney (cavemen) were the younger kids down the block.

When I was young, so were Lilith and Eve.

When I was old, Helen of Troy was the latest pin-up. The Queen of Sheba was attractive too.

As for Cleopatra? Her nose was interesting...

I'm not sure about the years, but I do remember back when Lucy Afarensis wanted me to be her Sugar Daddy,

Lol

My partner frequently kids me about walking with dinosaurs. He's nearly 9 years younger, so I figure we straddle geological ages.

I don't know what your motivation for asking is (care to share?) - after all, we're all of us here younger than our biological age in our minds, aren't we - but I'll wager a bottle of good Irish whiskey that the average age on the story readership side is significantly younger (10? 20 yrs?) than on the boards, specifically the AH and possibly the PH boards as well.

So to answer your question, let's just say I could be your mother, SB. And why are you on the boards rather than studying ? ;-)

Oh, mommy!;):D:rose::kiss:

Well, I wasn't really aware of the demography in Lit and never really cared about what anyones age should be.

Like I said, I'm just curious. If you hadn't mentined it before, I would've assumed you to be somewhere in 20s.

I don't know about the rest but I discovered this site when I was bedridden last year.

If there hadn't been an infection, there would be no Bard, and no headache for y'all.

Let's just say that I do a quick and efficient job on the academic front and spend the remaining time to destress by writing and bantering on the forums.:)

That would be the year of darkness, the age of despair, the millennium of terror. Somewhere around 1960.

Well, my bio page on the story side says I'm over 18, and I am. Enough over 18 to have forgotten lots of stuff, but old enough to remember lots of things (Not necessarily in order):

The Columbia disaster, The Cigarette Smoking Man, the Challenger disaster,Pan Am flight 103, Korean Air Lines Flight 007, Pan Am going under, Kent State, When Ho Chi Minh City was Saigon, Jackie Stewart, "Vietnamization", The Draft ending - too late for me, Jim Clark, "Houston we have a problem",Graham HIll, "One Giant Step", Carrol Shelby, Sirhan Sirhan taking his shot,Phil Hill, James Earl Ray taking his shot, Dan Gurney, Lee Harvey getting shot, Sterling Moss, The Tokyo Olympics, The US flag going from 48 stars, to 49 for a short time, and then 50 ... and much more.

I was old enough to be interested in the Kennedy/Nixon election, but way too young to vote. The first time I voted was in the Nixon/Humphrey election.

I suspect, as another poster mentioned, that I'm not far off the average age of many of the other writers on the AH, and I've long suspected that most of my readers were much younger.
