New Jersey Man Flies Islamic State Flag In Front Of His House… Shockingly, People Have A Problem With It…

Proposed settlement: He can fly the ISIS flag and we can burn Korans on his front lawn.

Via Free Beacon:

Police in Garwood, New Jersey, ordered that a militant flag associated with the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL or ISIS) be removed from the font of a local home after hundreds of online activists expressed fear and revulsion.

Garwood Police Chief Bruce D. Underhill confirmed to the Washington Free Beacon that officers had been contacted and residents at the suburban home “voluntarily” agreed to remove the flag.

A photo of the home with the ISIL and Turkish flags was tweeted out Tuesday morning and quickly attracted hundreds of retweets and comments.

Underhill told the Free Beacon that the police are aware of the situation and are working to uphold the public safety

How could I possibly know what's going on in your head?

I think it's because I think anyone who believes in publicly declaring that they believe an all loving and all powerful sky daddy looking over them should be publicly ridiculed, if not institutionalized in a fucking loony bin....no exceptions.

You worship an imaginary friend? Youz fucking crazy....the end.

Flying an ISIS flag on one's own property is not illegal, but it is probably not a good idea. That's assuming it isn't contrary to the rules of a homeowners' association or some other such group. It is also legal to burn copies of the Koran - or the Bible or any other book considered holy - if it is done in public or on a person's own property.

It should also be legal, although not nice, to fly a Confederate flag, a swastika, a hammer and sickle or any other flag on one's own property.
