hey there,
I'm looking for a specific way to tie a rope, and was thinking maybe someone here has an idea that could help me.

I usually use ropes to tie my partner, in all sorts of ways. However, I want to keep a quick handcuff-like rope next to the bed: a rope already tied that will quickly tighten around the wrist of my partner (but without tightening too much).

Until now I've used a sort of hangman's noose, with a overhand knot that prevents it from tightening too much.
However, I am not crazy about this one, since it also causes too much pressure on the wrist, and the overhand knot applies pressure on the skin.

Anyone has an idea which knot I can use?
Cheers

Not quite what you asked for, but would a cat's paw knot do the trick? It won't stay "already tied", but it can be tied very quickly and you don't need access to the ends, so you can tie it to the bedpost ready in advance and then quickly complete the knot when needed.
