there are those in posting in the personals who it seems sole purpose is to put down either new members or to discourage people from talking to new members. what gives you the right to post in someone's personal thread about how hilarious and desperate you think they are being?
there are posts here both blunt and articulate by both men and women, and here we have people with high post counts, and it certainly seems to only be those with high post counts to do this, who leave hateful and hurtful remarks on peoples posts . this discourages people from contacting that person with the added bonus of making that poster feel completely unwanted.
does it effect you if a post is blunt? of course not if you didn't enjoy a personal move on don't try and discourage others from diving into each others arms and pants.
grow up and be civil.
there's no reason to mock and you should be ashamed of yourselves. some people may find what you're doing funny and I'm sure you find it hilarious but frankly you're doing it at someone else's expense. get over yourselves. if you're really that insecure that a new member is going to attract one of the people you play with then perhaps this isn't the place for you.
don't be mocking, some people like the blunt approach, others like to be charmed. you shouldn't be influencing the forum with your hateful remarks. learn some self control.
if you feel you could offer some constructive criticism there's better ways to do it that how you currently are.
the reasoning for this letter? I can find 5 instances of it on the first page of these personals right now. for shame.
