Warning: Published Authors - Black Library - pirated book site

I did a brief search and didn't see this posted anywhere yet.

Black Library is a site that claims to have thousands of free, pre-formatted ebooks, from classics to modern. A number of published erotica authors from two Facebook Groups have found their books on the site in violation of copyright. The books were listed with author names and titles intact. There is a DMCA copyright violation report form - several have been submitted in the last day but no answer yet. I didn't find any of my Lit. stuff there, but if you are published you might want to check.

With all that malware its another fly by night site. It will fold tomorrow and come back with a new name next month.

Huh! My McAfee didn't tell me anything when I went there, and none of the other authors who went there reported problems. Sorry, guys! ��

My browser...nary a peep.

Of course with DoNotTrackMe now installed...I have now had over 1,200 trackers blocked.

Avast blocked the site. So I tried connecting to it using a virtual machine created just to check it out in a sandbox. It filled the VM with so many viruses and hijackers that it was unusable within moments. So the conclusion might be that not a heck of a lot of people are able to read the stuff without serious issues.
