I am a 59 year old guy. Been on Lit for a long time but have been gone off and on. Here is what I am looking for. Friends. Some of the people I used to know on here are gone. A lot of the people on here seem to be very very young.. for me that is. I would love to make friends and have people I talk to on a regular basis. Doesn't have to be sex, can be about anything.

A little about me. Married but, like many, a lonely marriage.

Here's what I'm wanting...a friend or friends to chat about anything...as a former DJ of over 30 years, a singer and a guitarist, a cartoonist, lover of books, music, photography, tv and movies and yes...sex.... There has got to be some people on here that want to chat and be friends. Women or guys...hello????
Just say Hi.... Love talking to people

Yes I was in radio... wish I still was but radio has changed so much and most of it is automation or voice tracked or syndication. Very few stations have LIVE Djs much any more unless your in a major market. The Daddy-O thing is from radio and is not about Daddy Doms even tho I was told I would make a good one. I doubt I would as I am not one for control on someone or the pain stuff.

Mmmm anyone want to ask me anything? I see a lot have looked but no talking

I'm sure others will comment. You know how Lit is. Feast or famine. :)

Can't think of anything to ask you, but there are plenty of folks in our age group around. Don't give up til you drink from the silver cup... :)

That is so funny that you qouted that song.... Dan Peek who sung it and wrote it who was with America was a good friend of mine.

You sound like fun!

I love music and have a variety of taste as far as that goes! Let's chat!

Spencer I bfeel you pain. no I mean literally, I'm getting a hip replaced in AUG.

How's it going Spenser? Fellow singer-songwriter in another life.. now working in an area that has nothing to do with either also... seems we all end up growing up and having to make real money.. even though not doing anything close to what we loved..
Have a family member who was in radio.. long time programming director, so he had a lot of artist contact, friends etc..

So, what style of music did you sing, play etc. I started out as a kid emulating Tommy Shaw and Styx, then being an 80's teenager, really liked the electronic alternative styles.. Nik Kershaw, Duran Duran, Til Tuesday.. my singing style just really never gelled with the 80s sound though..
As a singer never had a problem making the right connections.. just couldn't land the record deal.. probably because my strong suit was as a writer but wanted too badly to be the voice at the time.. *smile* live and learn with age.. :)

Hi, sugar! I miss ya. I see you have your own little "lit" home here now, so I'll subscribe so I can track you down.

*kisses*

I play guitar and sing and play the early 70s stuff. James Taylor, John Denver, Eagles, CSNY. That kind of stuff.

I haven't been tigger-y enough to pounce lately. I'm more in eeyore-mode.

I went to the movies today with my daughter, though. We went to see "Lucy." Very fast paced and fun to watch. The only awkward moment was the trailer playing for "Fifty Shades of Grey." yeesh.

Yea not into that. Understand the non tigger mood. I've been more of a pooh mood. Oh bother.......

I remember doing "Fire and Rain" for a talent show when I was a young teenager.. enjoyed John Denver's vocal mix.. and yes, Hotel California was a favorite When I first began singing, had a friend who played guitar and singing "Stairway to Heaven" was a lot of fun.. at the time, puberty hadn't hit yet, so I had a very dynamic range. My mother sung professionally, and I could hit notes that she couldn't. Had friends in school that use to ask me to sing "Renegade" by Styx a lot.
Later, when I was finally able to afford a synth, did a good bit of recording...
