ladies: does a guy wearing a wedding ring affect if you hit on them or not?

I have a friend that swears that regardless of wether you are an attached guy or not, if you wear a wedding ring out to the bars that you are more likely to get hit on by the ladies. Just wondering what the perspective is from the ladies, or the not so lady like out there. Would you rather hit on a guy wearing a wedding ring or not and why, or if it doesn't even matter at all.

Yes, this. And that feeling what if I was that woman. Guess my empathy works against me. Because when you get involved with married men you are almost certainly going to hurt another woman and in my book hurting another human being just to validate yourself is one of the shittiest human traits.
