I find I am having to edit a lot these days. Lack of sleep, and general grief making typos and mistakes much easier, maybe I should just go back to bed .
 
Hmmm, this girl's swimsuit is too big... well, at least upper neck closure should keep it on. I can take it in when I get time.
Haven't been swimming in a long time, years and years, covered in sunscreen, but will swim in a shirt too and hat ;)
 
I'm finding I'm a big fan of "la fée verte". I'm ever so glad the bartender knew how to make a Sazerac and even happier for the giggles, chuckling and merriment they produced! :kiss:
 
Crappy, stormy days are ideal for catching up on saved TV shows. And sex. They're great times for catching up sex. Think rain dates.

But that's not the case, because you alienate those around you by being a dick. And when you need someone to back you up, no one will be there.

And this is not in response to anyone on the Gee Bee. FYI. It's a response to a recent seemingly neverending bit of bullcrap, but also to people in life in general.

And if you don't care for drinking them, they're great to throw in someone's face (see Treme).

i am sick to the back teeth of the attitude nowadays where if something kicks off most people stand back, scared of intervening. don't they get that a group of adults moving together saying 'this isn't on' is often enough to prevent a verbal assault escalating to a physical one?

ok, i get it if you are infirm, elderly, very young or pregnant . . . i do not get the prevailing atmosphere of timidity that allows so many public assaults to take place. it's just not right to just stand by and let some lairy bastard stand there threaten a lone cashier with physical violence - step up and speak up. people are often scared to do this on their own, and sometimes with good cause BUT if they knew this sort of behaviour wouldn't be tolerated by able-bodied members of the public, if the one stepping forward knew they'd have automatic backup, then so many assaults of the kind that blight society today would simply never happen.
 
The cat loves rubber bands, has an unhealthy obsession with them so when the Princess started yelling about how her bag of bands for her braces was empty I told her to pick up the bathroom rug.


Sure enough, 20 or 30 little rubber bands.
