The anti-Christian Morality of Ethics

First of all my unanswered question re. what she, and a few others, define 'Homophobia' to be. It appears that it can be quite broad indeed.

A-average does have a point re. "normal." It could be that that response is perfectly 'normal' for an academia sheltered Psychology doctoral candidate to make. I still believe it to be irrational, but in that cloistered world it might be quite 'normal.'

If normal is a bell-curve... what the hell percentage thinks first and foremost homophobe?

Very, very few, I would imagine; which is why your agenda pushing article is almost certainly bullshit.

Words have meaning. It is come to me in our conversations that to you meaning is situational, but I believe that changing meanings has a consequence.

Yeah except when they don’t…….

Excessive 2

Whenever the attacks on Libertarians commence here, when they call them anarchists and Republicans, do you somehow think they mean every Libertarian but you???

Perhaps it’s only the Libertarians that often sound like Republican’s in sheep’s clothing.

Woof!

No, they think they have a stick an an anthill...

I'm, however, just a monkey's uncle...

As far as that last point, I made it too just a little earlier. ;)

Of course. It can range from the fear that they'll try to have sex with you, to the fear that if they get married it will make your marriage somehow less meaningful, and everything in between. All of it irrational.

Not wanting to get in to a relationship with a bigot isn't irrational at all, IMO.

You're the one who claims to know what "normal" is, within some closely defined parameters. You tell us.

Good cop out. TRADITION!

Umm..yeah, you are. Wanting to force them to live according to your views. How you define marriage

I was asking you. You're the one who said my views were extreme.

Beats me. I get called a liberal all the time. :D

You called for limited government social spending.

In our current climate, that is extreme.

However, you are beginning to mimic Botany Boy...

Is the woman's response a normal response? I challenge you to say yes or no.
If you cannot, then my observation is as valid as your reaction to me defining "normal" which, I really did not. I never said what a normal reaction to that question would be but that her answer did not seem to be normal. Now, if you had tried to follow suit and made your argument follow mine, that it was not normal, then you would have standing for all of your following conclusions, but you decided to do battle with a windmill first before making your foregone conclusion.

;) ;) :)

You say, you're a Libertarian, but I cannot be one and even if we're on the same page, you're embarrassed to be singing form the same hymnal because I refuse to adopt the language and safe responses of the Liberal Consensus.

:nana:

It's okay to be an embarrassed Libertarian, just do not open fire on your fellow anarcho-Capitalist Pirates.

Christian morality would be a lot more popular if more Christians practiced it, instead of picking and choosing Bible verses to justify their prejudice and bigotry.

See, there you go again. There are many, everywhere, that have broadened the definition to include anyone that doesn't agree with the homosexual lifestyle regardless of whether there is 'fear' involved or not. Mere disagreements are promoted to 'phobia's' for no other reason than to allow the promoter to claim some sort of moral high ground. It's a well understood tactic.

Good point. Sometimes spellcheck is not your friend.

But the n&m keys are right next to each other, you have to go out of your way to hit '.

;) ;)

Fair point.

But in mitigation, I will point out, though; I envisaged that the Republicans did (naturally) own the sheep’s clothing.;)

Does this, still, mean I get to make the first cut?

Woof!

Yeah, "Biblically based morality" is the clear victor, here. If you're lucky enough to meet a rapist, you don't have to worry about whether to date them or not - just marry them on the spot!

Deuteronomy 22:28-29 “If a man meets a virgin who is not betrothed, and seizes her and lies with her, and they are found, then the man who lay with her shall give to the father of the young woman fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife, because he has violated her. He may not divorce her all his days."

AND you (well, your father) get fifty shekels out of the deal!! $weet!

I don't usually have nice things to say about AJ, but I must admit that he has a remarkable talent for finding the stupidest, most pointless "thought" pieces on the internet. Even vette's C&Ps have more substance.

Good Gravy! Is this person writing a stream of consciousness blog ? So you look to this person, for good judgment and beneficial knowledge ?

Ten Reasons Why I Am No Longer a Leftist

This person, in may ways, reflects what I was when I was young and all of my relatives were good Democrat Union workers. As per Reagan, the party left us; it became the Social Justice Party and every American was a victim, a ...,

AJ gets his talkin' points from c-and-p articles from American Thinker and NRO.

Until recently, Vetty countered with the overheated rhetoric from Breitbart, but I guess there wasn't enough spittle-flecked oratory there, because lately he had "dumbed down" his cut-n-paste using some site called "truthrevolt".
