San diego is a bit farther than we were looking to travel.. But if we get a chance we will give it a go.

They have busses running between LA and SD along the coast. Like city busses. They are or were kind of fun to ride and they used to stop right at the nude beach. when you get nice and burned you can have a easy ride back up the coast.

Haulover Beach north of Miami Florida is one of the best in the USA. It is a beautiful beach, the water gorgeous, and the parking is right across the highway from the beach. Food is available, volleyball is usually organized, or just sit and relax. And enjoy the scenery.
