Shameless on Showtime

I watched one episode, said this is about as funny as swiping avatars, and didn't watch again.

I really love this show. The first time I watched I was like "WTF just happened?!?!" But I kept coming back and haven't missed an episode. As long as it is on I will watch. Hope there's enough people to keep it going 2 or 3 more seasons.

Great show. Twisted... but real in many ways.

Although white trash matriarchs do NOT look like Emmy Rossum.

It's frenetic. Handheld camera stuff. It makes me realize why I don't live in the city.

I gave up on the British one after 3 episodes.

I can never understand the British shows and have to watch with the deaf thing on. I watched half of the first season on Showtime, and then forgot about it, I should give it another whirl.

It's a decent show, but it's definitely begun to repeat itself. If Emmy Rossum ever says "OK, I think everyone has seen enough of my tits," it might be time to pull the plug.

And I've always thought the show's ambivalence towards Frank dropped it down a level in quality. He has no redeeming features, but the producers obviously want us to find his various schemes and antics charming.

I think he really loved the sick girl and he helped her die.
