you're right - only seen zumi use it on lit, but it's not so uncommon where i live and i've read it more than a few times being used in media reports.

That is one crazy person. I happened to read some of his stories recently- I got curious because of the consistently low ratings- and oh my god! So, he's just a troll on Lit then. You should at least check out his submissions list if not the stories and you'll see what I mean. Consequently his stories are trolled a great deal- you should just read the comments section (that's how I even happened to stumble upon his submissions).

You're splitting hairs. The fact is, you are not someone who has posted much on the GB, and here you are in this thread, using "we" in a post, thereby anointing yourself as a spokesperson for others.

As someone so proud to be an adult, I imagine you can understand why that might not resonate positively with people who have posted here for a long time.

I thought it was fairly clear that when she/he quoted Nowisthetime that's who s/he was referring to as "we" - as one does in the course of normal conversation.

What was less clear was somebody quoting a post that -didn't- contain "we" and then asking "who is we".

That's just my perspective, of course.
