Fellow nerd here! Not new to the site, just a fresh start with a new name. It's been ages since I've been around and would love to meet some new friends. Kind of a weird place to seek out a friendship, I guess, but I have successfully before and what else is there to do on a lonely Friday night!

So not your average girl. Bit of a weirdo (in the best ways possible), bit of an enigma. I am probably the most obnoxiously sweet person you will ever meet; I would do anything for a friend in need. Amazing listener, stellar flirt, and all-round rad ass friend.

I'm more of an introvert, at least at first. All kinds of interests and enjoy trying and learning about new things. I can find something to talk about with anyone.

What sorry of geek/dork are you? Are you a video gamer? A role player? Fantasy bookworm? Movie buff?
Personally I'm a mixture of the last three. But I also a fan of sports, which sorry of makes me an enigma as well amongst friends, as commonalities are shared only amongst a few topics.

I would definitely consider myself a movie/trivia buff. Definitely a video gamer and a tabletop gamer. I do like to read, mostly horror/thriller, even the occasional young adult series. I obsess over A Song of Ice and Fire. I'm also a dork for music, whatever I'm doing, I have to have something playing.

I am a sports fan as well, which is where I tend to throw people off. Hockey is my drug of choice. But I adore football and I'm an ex-volleyball player as well.

Ahh. I usually pick up on sarcasm as well. Silly me.

I have played it a bit, but it was on loan from a friend. Maybe I'll pick it up cheap online somewhere.

Awesome. I too like A Song of Ice and Fire, I'm waiting in anticipation top see what's in store for the family Stark, and Jon Snow (despite the ending of Dance with Dragons).

Video game wise I stopped with the PS2, but have played a little bit of Start Trek online and am in the closed beta for the new Transformers online game. Though I find that table top gaming is by far the better gaming system. Using one's imagination and skill to interact with any setting is always fun and exciting. I recently was run on a d6 one shot of Transformers and have run my own game using Pathfinder, and creating TMNT to be the heroes.

Movies I'm more of the scifi/superhero type, but I love a good thriller and have a soft side for musicals and romantic comedies.

With music in eclectic, mostly right now it's hard rock, with my favorite band being Ra. And I'd the times are on, you'll anyways find me singing along, no matter what genre.

What sports teams do you follow?

My two cents worth on Arkham Horror... Save your money there and go for Eldritch Horror instead... Streamlines the old systems used in AH with fewer expansion cluttering up the place, and its much more thematic. Every game it's like you are living out your own story. Love it.
 
Nerdy geeks for the win

I've just come back to lit too so nice to meet you. what tabletop games are you in to, I've been playing alot of boardgames and video game to be fair.
 
I used to play a lot of White Wolf games, Masquerade, Ascension, etc. Mostly lately it's all been ps3. Not too many roleplayers where I live now. I love movies and trivia as well. Horror is usually what I watch and read with some sci fi and fantasy thrown in. Gotta love the Lovecraft! Terry Pratchett's discworld series is an amazing read as well. The Wheel of Time series from Robert Jordan is one of my favorite.
 
I had a Lasombra clan character I used to play regularly until a bad dice roll. :(
