1. The enemy of the past is NOT the enemy of today. Arm chair generals fight the battles of the past, reality dictates that we fight the battles of our time. Any other discussion is merely mental masturbation. Those who bring up past transgressions by other than the enemy of today are indoctrinated morons.

2. Islam, as defined by the fundamentalists, is intolerant of any other point of view and most certainly any other form of government outside of Shari'a law.

3. Referring to #2, Islam, as defined by the psychopaths, cannot tolerate any form of democracy.

4. They cannot tolerate the emancipation of women. It is anathema to their very existence. In any democratic society the oppressed gain political power at an exponential rate. Witness the post civil war oppression of the blacks and the civil rights movement in the American south.

5. It is not our government they hate, it is us. You and I individually. Our entire civilization.

They are not going to stop. Not with payoffs, not with negotiation. the sooner we realize that we are it war with Islam, the better off we'll be. Perhaps, just perhaps,. when we openly declare that war the 'peaceful' Muslims will be forced to take a side in the conflict. And quite frankly that is exactly what we want to happen. Until the irrelevant becomes relevant the war will never end.
