I don't taste it consistently (or even very frequently), but on the consistency front, I have exactly the same experience. Force also seems to increase with time.

MY BF's cum is thicker, creamier and tastes almost neutral if he hasn't ejaculated in, say, 2-3 days (there's also noticeably more of it).
