FAWC 5: Line, Please!

Roughly eleven hours to go . . .

Thanks. The ticking is driving me crazy.

I just "finished." Now I'm gonna take a bike ride with my girlie before I edit this mess.

I'm still working!

But it's a gloomy day today. That will help me finish in plenty of time. Maybe.

Well, a second story didn't happen, partly due to lack of time, but partly (mainly?) due to my inability to come up with a good conflict, or any conflict, really. Or not one that worked well. So it goes.

Weather-wise it's been kind of up and down today, with this kind of ever-present threat of t-storms. Although that seems to be gone for the evening, which is good. PennBoy has a baseball playoff game that's already been postponed twice.

My guess, then, is that PennLady has entered three or more stories this time.

Early June seems really early for a playoff game in baseball, but maybe that's just me.

Nope. Seriously, just one.

It's just little league baseball, and runs from April-June, so the playoffs actually started the week of Memorial Day. However, like I said, rain has been a factor. Once his game was postponed because it rained the day of, and then a few days later, it rained again and although PennBoy was not scheduled to play that night, the shifting of all the games meant his game got shifted further back.

Yes! Seven hours. And I'm going to need all of them if these characters don't get off their asses and DO something. Anything! :D

Is there a way to see which users have marked you as a favorite author or one of your stories as a favorite more than 30 days after they do? I feel like I'm missing something, and I want to let my past readers know about FAWC so they can read some great stories.

Fuck fuck fuck!!!!!!!!

I just lost the last page and a half of writing! I don't know what I did! I was saving between Word and stupid Mac Pages, and I must have chosen to not save the wrong doc.

God dammit!!!!!!!!!!!

Nooooooooo!

Good luck.

I took what I had this morning (over 3,000 words), chopped it down to about 1300, and have been typing all day to make a new story. Time is short. We'll see.

That lost work may have actually been for the best. It made me realize I needed to change something. Typing typing typing like a boss.

FAWCker, expect an email from me at 11:59:59

I once lost a 30 page paper for a graduate research class. It was much better for the rewrite.

Good luck. I'm still editing.

Translation: "My disguised story will be five Lit. pages."
